Basketball & Spikeball Tournament
Location: Fairview High School
Registration is open until July 20

Day of Event – Saturday, July 25

• 9 am – Check-in at the High School entrance off Hwy 100 in the lobby near the gym
• Pick up t-shirts and game information at check-in

Event Speakers:

Spikeball :

• 2v2
• Coed team if desired- Spikeball teams will play each other regardless of whether it’s an all-boy team, or an all-girl team, or a coed team.
• Register teams by high school or middle school divisions.

 Basketball:

• 3v3
• Register teams – boys or girls in high school/ middle school divisions.

Belize Central Prison 2024

A team from Elevation Sports held a worship service at Belize Central Prison, and approximately 40 inmates came to know Christ.

The overall message at the prison was that God cares how we walk in life, and He wants us to walk like Christ. God punishes us for our sin, and those that go on mission trips are not any better than anyone else. We all sin, and yet God forgives us through His son who shed His blood on the cross of Calvary. We hope you’ll let Him forgive you, and then you’ll find the freedom in Christ that only He can give. The shackles of sin will fall off if you accept the payment He made. Christ’s blood washes us, and makes us white as snow. God accepts us through that sacrifice, and through that debt that was paid by Jesus.

Armenia Village, Belize 2024

Baseball and soccer found their way into this mission trip. 14 of us were used by God in a wonderful approach to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Kids came to Christ, and later in the week prisoners, guards and visitors alike were in tears. It was humbling to see everyone using their gifts once again to love and enjoy people in a Christlike way.

Atenas, Costa Rica 2023

It was baseball through which we shared the gospel this time. As usual, beautiful people engaged in loving Jesus helped pave the way for a great trip. Baseball, not the choicest sport in the area, got the attention of the youth though. Shane Holcomb and Youth Reach Costa Rica, set the stage for all of us to use our God-given talents to glorify Him. It’s a treasure and a joy to see people use those gifts whether in the action or on the sideline loving others.

3n1 Tournament 2022

Elevation Sports hosted a local 2 day tournament at Fairview High School which was a great opportunity to minister to the elementary through high school kids in the community. The 3 person teams competed in flag football, soccer, corn hole, homerun derby, spike ball, and basketball. Kevin Starks, Lipscomb Academy basketball coach, shared the gospel and talked about the “dash” (your life between birth and death). Jeff Boyet, Executive Pastor of One Church Home, shared about finding courage through God’s strength. Many volunteers made it an enjoyable event.

Punta Gorda/Armenia Village, Belize 2022

We headed to southern Belize to share the good news of Christ Jesus through soccer once again. We worked with Jervis Fisher and leaders of LOL ministry in conjunction with Julian Cho High School to put on a soccer tournament aimed at glorifying God. The winners of this tournament wanted to share with the younger generation how they were able to get out of gang-related influences. Their work through soccer and Jesus is still ongoing.

Armenia Village, Belize 2021

Over the Christmas & New Years break of 2021, some of the Elevation Sports team ministered in Armenia just south of the capital city Belmopan, Belize. Approximately 100 youth joined us for a soccer training session, devotion, lunch, and a tournament that followed. Building up to the camp, we worked on the field a couple of days trying to make it as nice as possible. Elevation Sports served the community and shared the love of Christ.
